SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) — It was just like any other Saturday at Gerald's Tires & Brakes.

Scott Cook is the manager. He says they start every day off with a morning meeting and greet the guests with a round of applause.

But last Saturday, he had something special up his sleeve.

"We are always brainstorming what can we do differently," said Scott.

He said his wife had shown him a video of people singing. Then - bingo.

"We all just kind of looked at it and a light bulb went off," said Scott.

It took just three days to plan the event. Scott called up his friend, Dan Riley, to hold a one-man concert that weekend.

Dan played a classic - Three Little Birds" by Bob Marley.

Customers seemed to love the performance and even sang along.

"They mean the world to us," said Scott.

He hopes this isn't the last time they host a performance at their shop.

"I'm hoping it'll be something we introduce and it'll be a regular part of how we greet our guests," said Scott.
