A dedicated community builder, Dan founded the music non-profit Community Music Collective and two local music festivals, the Edisto Blackwater Boogie and The Southern Songwriter Festival. 2026 promises to reveal the next evolutions in his musical community building vision, the Timber Room. The Timber Room will be the town of Summerville’s first dedicated listening room style music venue, the only venue like it in the Charleston South Carolina Lowcountry.
